About Us

 The concept for Technology Resource Management Group was conceived in 1999.  While working for a major local phone company we noticed that companies were paying more than ever for their telecom services.  Many companies thought that they had to switch their service to lesser known providers just to reduce costs.  The savings were usually minimal and the service was not as good as what had been promised. We also noticed that the phone companies had grown to become huge sales operations and that commissions drove what products they offered to their customers.  This often left the customer being offered the more expensive services and never being offered more cost-effective services. 

 We also noticed that the phone companies no longer trained their employees, as they once had.  This greatly increased the amount of billing and service problems that their customers were experiencing.  In today’s environment the phone companies have downsized so dramatically, and continue to do so, that their customers were often left with no where to turn. 

 The combination of the above problems gave us the idea that maybe it was time that we took our knowledge and experience and made it available to the businesses.  We believe this gives businesses an edge over the phone companies and allows us to work as an advocate for them.  Since the company was started we have seen the problems that were there in the beginning grow worse.  Today, the phone companies’ staff is comprised of almost all salespeople with very little support personnel.   Businesses are at greater risk of being over-billed than ever and there are fewer people to assist them.

 Our mission is simple, to help businesses of all sizes and in all industries, manage their telecom expenses, as efficiently as possible and remain objective in our recommendations.  We will be there to help you when the phone company is not, no matter what the problem.
